John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believers in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.


Romans 3:23

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.


 Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.


 1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.


Isaiah 53:6

All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned everyone to his own way, and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.


Romans 10:9

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Consummation

In the context of our faith, consummation represents the culmination of God's redemptive work through Jesus Christ, bringing to fulfill His promises and establishing His eternal kingdom. it is rooted deeply in God's promises of the following: 1. CREATION - God's creation was originally flawless, crafted perfectly for harmony and connection with Him. However, this divine perfection was disrupted because of sin. See Genesis 1-3 2. COVENANTS - The covenants made by God with Noah, Abraham, Moses, and David demonstrate His unwavering commitment in restoring what was once lost. Each covenant foreshadows a greater fulfillment in Christ. See Genesis 4 - 50; 1 Samuel and 2 Samuel; Book of Psalms 3. CHRIST'S FIRST COMING - The birth, ministry, crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ were transformative events in history. Jesus initiated the kingdom of God offering redemption and salvation to all mankind. See the four gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John 4. THE RETURN OF CHRIST - The fulfillment of God's plan will manifest with the return of Jesus Christ. This coming event is the hope we eagerly await. See the Book of Revelation What is the nature of consummation? The Bible shows us what it is all about - 1. New heaven and new earth - Revelation 21:1 2. The marriage supper of the Lamb - Revelation 19:7-9 3. The final judgment - Matthew 25: 31-46 4. Fulfillment of god's kingdom - Philippians 2:10-11 As believers, we have a significant role in God's narrative redemption: 1. Be vigilant - Matthew 24:42-44 2. The Great Commission - Matthew 28:19-20 3. Walk in the Spirit - Galatians 5:16-18; Hebrews 12:14-15 May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be upon you as we eagerly anticipate the glorious fulfillment of God's plan in our lives!
